Dra. Varleta is Chief of the Cardiovascular Center at Hospital DIPRECA, previously she
directed the Cardiovascular Preventive Unit at that Institution. She graduated from the
Medicine Faculty, Universidad de Chile, and completed her fellowship of Internal Medicine
and Cardiology at the Hospital Salvador, Medicine Faculty of the Universidad de Chile. Dra
Varleta areas of expertise are Preventive Cardiology and Women´s Heart Disease. Her
research have been focussed in those areas, with publications in National and International
Journals. She also have participated as principal investigator in many lipid clinical trials.
Currently she is participating in studies with Inclisiran and Pelacarsen.
